Construction Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Semiconductor Projects
Schedule: M-F (8:00 am-5:00 pm)
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50.00 per hr. DOE

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical authority on semiconductor facility construction, including cleanrooms and high-purity systems.
- Provide strategic guidance and industry best practices to define and standardize construction business processes.
- Partner with design, engineering, and project teams to optimize workflows and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with technical writers/trainers to document, review, and secure approval of end-to-end business processes.
- Support development of training and onboarding materials aligned to approved processes.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while staying current on industry trends and regulations.
Requirements:
- 10+ years construction; 5+ in semiconductor/advanced manufacturing
- Expertise in cleanrooms, HVAC, electrical, and high-purity systems
- Knowledge of SEMI, IEST, OSHA standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Preferred: Procore, BIM 360, Primavera P6, ACC
- Self-driven; able to lead SME sessions, document processes, and travel between sites
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with global semiconductor clients or EPC firms
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA 30, LEED AP)
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
