Maintenance Technician Level 3
Pay Rate: $23 DOE

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and perform minor upgrade projects on mechanical systems.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational and maintenance issues on mechanical systems.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide range of building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform all required maintenance tasks.
- Execute assignments that are semi-routine in nature and performed within established guidelines and procedures.
- Apply sound judgment to resolve non-standard maintenance and operational problems.
- Follow general work instructions and job plans while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Review and complete assigned work orders, maintenance tasks, and repair projects efficiently.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, air handlers, compressors, and related equipment operations.
- Experience performing general industrial mechanical maintenance and repair work.
- Ability to perform instrument calibration and related troubleshooting activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organization, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Ability to work within a highly regulated environmental compliance culture and follow strict safety procedures.
- Willingness to work a compressed work-week schedule.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including air-supplied respirators, coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Comfortable working in a mobile environment and spending significant time on the move throughout the facility.
- Must possess a valid HVAC certification.
- 1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Preferred: Experience supporting facility operations and maintaining mechanical building systems.
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
