Orbital Welder
Schedule: M-F 6:00am-3:00pm
Pay Rate: $24 + DOE

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform orbital and TIG welding of high-purity stainless steel assemblies per drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operate orbital welding equipment, including ARC 207 power supplies or equivalent.
- Prepare, fit, assemble, and weld tubing and components using proper fabrication techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, BOMs, and weld procedures.
- Ensure weld quality and compliance with safety, customer, and industry standards.
- Train junior technicians and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and QA/QC teams.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent training.
- Previous orbital welding and/or TIG welding experience.
- Current welding certification or ability to re-certify.
- Portfolio or examples of previous welding workmanship preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and QC documents.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Basic machine tool knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with welding, cutting, facing, and tube preparation processes.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
