Tool Crib Shop Technician
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $24+/hr. DOE
Location: Boise, ID.

The Tool Crib Shop Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of tools and equipment within a tool crib. This role involves issuing tools to workers, tracking their usage, ensuring that all tools are returned in good condition, and conducting minor repairs if needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track the inventory of tools and coordinate the issuance and return of tools and equipment in the tool crib, ensuring availability for our customers.
- Inspect tools for functionality and safety.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs when necessary.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the tool crib area to optimize accessibility and workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, perform regular audits, and reorder supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify needs for additional tools or equipment.
- Assist in printing and creating signs and labels for customers.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Able to learn tracking and logistics software.
- Able to learn laser engraving tooling and design software.
- Organized, motivated, and with strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to diagnose tool issues using online resources.
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 55 pounds.
