Toolbelt Technician
Schedule: M-F 7:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $60.00 per hr.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and remove small tools and minor facility components, including electrical, mechanical, gas lines, ducting, decontamination, and earthquake bracing.
- Remove and route CAT6 ethernet and install or repair cylinder chains, air guns, cleanroom dispensers, and tabletop plexiglass.
- Complete project punch‑list tasks and perform assigned Clean, Safe & Secure (CS&S) action items.
- Support Tool Belt Program activities by coordinating subcontractor walkthroughs, obtaining bids, and assisting with scheduling and safety compliance.
- Process subcontractor work orders and ensure all work follows safety policies and signage requirements.
- Assist with Tool Belt documentation, building alerts, cost‑savings tracking, and BU support statistics.
- Meet assigned project timelines and perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in building cleaning and maintenance work.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to work occasionally in poor weather
- conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
- Ability to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
