Construction Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Semiconductor Projects
Schedule: M-F (7:00am-4:00pm)
Pay Rate: $45 - $50 DOE

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for large-scale semiconductor facility construction.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance across all project phases.
- Develop and support optimal construction business processes for the client.
- Assess, analyze, and document construction business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and process effectiveness.
- Act as the technical authority on semiconductor construction methods, cleanroom protocols, and high-purity systems.
- Partner with design, engineering, and project management teams to optimize workflows and resolve technical challenges.
- Work with Technical Writers/Trainers to document, review, and obtain approval for business process documentation.
- Support the development of training materials and onboarding programs to ensure adherence to defined business processes.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of construction experience, including 5+ years in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Extensive knowledge of cleanroom construction and high-purity facility systems.
- Expertise in electrical systems, process piping, HVAC, and related infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SEMI, IEST, and OSHA standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of coordinating and conducting on-site meetings with technical experts to gather project information.
- Skilled in independently developing work products and facilitating review and approval sessions.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between the WGNSTAR office and the Micron worksite.
- Construction Management degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, BIM 360, Primavera P6, and ACC is preferred.
- Experience working with global semiconductor clients and/or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms.
- Professional certifications preferred, including:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) Certification
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
