EHS Control Room Technician - ID001
Schedule: Must be flexible
Pay Rate: $25 / Hourly
Location: Boise, ID
The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
- Complete all required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with site safety policies
- Follow job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Always wears appropriate PPE, per JHA, supervisor, EHS professionals, and/or job designation
- Actively participate in the EHS program by facilitating communication for reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately
- Follow proper change management practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are met
- Drives quality improvement initiatives in their area to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and identify cost savings
- Follow area-specific procedures and documents submit updates to content when needed• Monitors, receives, and interprets signals received on multiple Fire Monitoring Systems
- Monitors, receives, and interprets signals received on duress alarms, area evacuation alarm signals, and safety shower/emergency eyewash activations
- Initiates site-wide emergency and routine notifications via telephone, paging systems, and radio
- Monitors and receives all site emergency communications
- Maintains/updates emergency contact information for key personnel
- Perform emergency dispatch, crisis intervention and provide prearrival instructions for emergency, non-emergency, medical, and ERT events
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass Medical Dispatcher Certification
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
