Logistics Coordinator
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $36+/hr. DOE
Location: Boise, ID.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the supply chain and logistics operations on the construction site. This role ensures that materials, equipment, and personnel are efficiently transported and delivered to support the construction activities. The Logistics Coordinator works closely with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the procurement, transportation, and delivery of construction materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are stored properly.
- Monitor material usage and reorder supplies as needed to avoid delays.
- Schedule and manage the delivery and return of construction equipment.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and serviced regularly.
- Track equipment usage and optimize allocation to various site activities.
- Coordinate accommodation and other logistical needs for site personnel.
- Manage site access and security for deliveries and personnel.
- Work closely with construction teams to align logistics operations with project schedules.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, including material usage, equipment status, and personnel movements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- 3+ years of proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- The Logistics Coordinator must be prepared to handle physical tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
