Gas & Chemical Technician
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Pay Rate: $23+DOE, Hourly
Location: Lehi, Utah
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform gas cylinder and chemical container changeouts while following all safety and operating procedures.
- Conduct chemical offloads and support the receiving, stocking, and delivery of chemicals and gases.
- Monitor gas and chemical distribution systems through SCADA and respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform routine maintenance, and respond quickly to critical situations to maintain system reliability.
- Perform daily inspections of operational areas and identify potential safety, equipment, or process concerns.
- Review and follow SOPs, work plans, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and sequence of operations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment status, operating parameters, inspections, and daily activities while ensuring operational areas remain clean, organized, and audit-ready.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Relevant military experience or work-related experience.
- Ability to be SCBA certified and clean-shaven.
- Ability to be forklift certified on-site.
- Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments.
- Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Military or Trades certifications in relevant fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs, Outlook, Teams, Excel.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
