Entry Level Semiconductor Equipment Technician
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $28+ DOE
Location: Chaska, MN

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will be trained in modification, assembly, check out and testing semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing facility in Chaska, MN.
- Then will perform on-site service, upgrades, and modifications to equipment of semiconductor processing equipment
- Troubleshoots equipment problems
- Maintains records and reports as required
- Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
- Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both WGNSTAR and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)

- Prior experience or/and military experience in a mechanical or electronics field
- 1+ years of previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Excellent customer interface skills are required
- Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
- Willing to learn and doesn't mind working in a physical role
- Minimum Education of High School Diploma required
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Preferences:
- Minimum of Associate degree in electronics, engineering, or other related field of study preferred, or Military Equivalent
