Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25+/hr. DOE
Location: Boise, ID.
Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead emergency response efforts as ERT Captain, directing personnel during medical, chemical, gas, HAZMAT, and rescue incidents.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including PPE, CoHE (Lockout/Tagout), and chemical handling procedures.
Conduct safety audits, perform hazard prevention checks, and support workplace safety and efficiency improvements.
Inspect emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, SCBA and Safety Showers to ensure they are ready for use.
Apply and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHA/JSA); communicate shift updates and collaborate across teams to resolve safety and equipment issues.
Manage and maintain emergency response tools and equipment; document incidents and monitor safety trends.

Requirements:

Ability to become certificated in SCBA, SKA, APR respiratory protection, HAZMAT response, and confined space/high-angle rescue.
Medical responder with EMT license.
Valid driver’s license.
Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
