Emergency Medical Technician
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25+/hr. DOE
Location: Boise, ID.
Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead emergency response efforts as ERT Captain, directing personnel during medical, chemical, gas, HAZMAT, and rescue incidents.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including PPE, CoHE (Lockout/Tagout), and chemical handling procedures.
- Conduct safety audits, perform hazard prevention checks, and support workplace safety and efficiency improvements.
- Inspect emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, SCBA and Safety Showers to ensure they are ready for use.
- Apply and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHA/JSA); communicate shift updates and collaborate across teams to resolve safety and equipment issues.
- Manage and maintain emergency response tools and equipment; document incidents and monitor safety trends.
- Ability to become certificated in SCBA, SKA, APR respiratory protection, HAZMAT response, and confined space/high-angle rescue.
- Medical responder with EMT license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
