Electrical Engineer - Semiconductor Process Systems
Schedule: M-F 8am to 5pm
Pay Rate: $185K to $200K Annually
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and test electrical solutions – develop electrical equipment and systems for semiconductor processes; create test environments, implement protocols, and analyze electrical measurements
- Process control and optimization – establish methods for process control, inspection and troubleshooting; use data analytics, SPC and DOE to tune fabrication processes
- Equipment maintenance and support – maintain, troubleshoot and repair semiconductor processing equipment in cleanroom environments
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication – work with process, equipment, yield, quality and R&D teams; report technical information clearly and document processes
- Compliance and safety – ensure electrical systems meet industry standards, safety protocols and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees advantaged.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, circuit theory, and fabrication processes; experience with electrical test equipment and CAD/EDA tools
- Proficiency in SPC, root-cause analysis, DOE, yield analysis
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and project coordination abilities
- PE certification, Six Sigma, CSP (optional but valued)
Preferences:
- Semiconductor fab work; lithography, etch, deposition, CMP
- Equipment engineering in cleanrooms using tools like ASML steppers, plasma etchers
- Yield engineering or cross-functional collaboration in semiconductor lines
