Senior Manager/Supervisor

WGNSTAR is currently recruiting an Operations Manager in Boise Idaho. The role will be responsible for managing, coaching, and leading assigned WGNSTAR employees working at specific client(s) location. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ recent experience in a similar management role within Semiconductor Manufacturing or other Hi-tech related industries. The candidate will also have a technical working knowledge of how a facility and manufacturing business operates within a hi-tech industry.

Candidates must demonstrate experience in operational performance management with an in-depth knowledge of customer manufacturing requirements and processes, technical equipment, protocols and KPI’s.

Shift: Monday-Friday. Must be able to travel locally and domestically.
Location: Boise, ID

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Point of contact for our customer(s), responsible for coordinating all assigned account activity and support.
  • Responsible for the overall leadership & management of assigned operations personnel on-site.
  • Form client relationships by developing communication throughout the client’s organization to further grow our business.
  • Interact with the client daily, seek their feedback on WGNSTAR’s service performance, individual employee performance, measure customer satisfaction and address any issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Accountable for contributing to site management initiatives and ensuring that the expertise and resources of the organization are available to support any agreed initiatives.
  • Develop and Report on performance KPI’s and metrics to Customer & WGNSTAR.
  • Work with Head of Operations to accurately forecast current and projected business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Coordinate and participate in site meetings between the business teams and customers.
  • Actively seek out and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Represent WGNSTAR in planning, operational & business development meetings.
  • Accountable for conducting interviews via phone, Microsoft teams, and face-to-face with potential candidates.
  • Management, supervision, coordination and monitoring of assigned employees and team performance.
  • Ensure the Health and Safety of assigned staff/contractors working under WGNSTAR direction is of the highest standard.
  • Plan and take action to protect Company & Customer assets, reputation and ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a previous management role.
  • Ability to Travel locally and domestically 
  • Fluency in English – spoken & written.
  • Previous experience in a Technical environment
  • Technical knowledge of equipment utilized within a facilities and manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Strategic and Critical thinking ability 
  • Motivation to identify, grow, and deliver business development opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently/self-directed
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, interpersonal and project management skills. 
  • Customer friendly, presentable, and personable as a Company Representative
Preferred:
  • A background in Semiconductor Services 
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree (technical/business).

Physical Effort/Activities: On a continuous basis in the performance of duties, will be required to interact directly with all assigned employees and customers management out in the field (management by walking around) (WMBA) so, extended periods of time walking and communicating. Also, about 40% of the time will be working in an office environment, sitting at an assigned work area, utilizing an assigned laptop to manage assigned work responsibilities. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
