Plastic Fabrication Technician
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24, hourly
Location: Boise, ID.
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welding plastics using hot air welding techniques to create products such as chemical cabinets and other specialized cabinetry.
- General cabinet-making skills with plastic sheets and other materials.
- Work safely with machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and drills.
- Maintain a safe work environment in your area and throughout the shop.
- Read and interpret design drawings and instructions.
- Perform work at times in a cleanroom environment with PPE.
- Experience with carpentry shop tools, including table saws, table routers, drill presses, joiners, chop saws, jig saws, etc.
- Ability to read a measuring tape accurately.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings, and have the ability to build products based on those schematics.
- Experience with plastic welding of various types of plastic, using hot air welding in the shop or portable in the field.
- Previous Teflon welding experience.
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
