Rigger
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (May require occasional weekend or off-hours work as needed)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform safe lifting, rigging, and movement of AMHS components, mechanical equipment, track sections, and structural assemblies.
- Set up and operate hoists, gantries, dollies, skates, pallet jacks, chain falls, and other rigging tools.
- Rig, uncrate, and position stockers, lift stations, tool bases, and mechanical subassemblies per OEM specifications.
- Move equipment through cleanroom, sub‑fab, and congested areas while maintaining safety and precision.
- Attach loads securely using slings, shackles, clamps, and approved rigging hardware.
- Signal crane operators or lifting personnel during load moves.
- Precisely set equipment in place for installation teams, ensuring correct orientation and alignment.
- Support movement and staging of OHT track components, carts, and overhead mechanical assemblies.
- Follow internal and customer safety protocols, including lift plans, cleanroom procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Conduct rigging inspections to ensure hardware integrity and compliance with load ratings.
- Participate in daily safety briefings, JHAs (Job Hazard Analyses), and risk assessments.
- Maintain safe work practices when moving heavy or sensitive equipment in active work zones.
- Work closely with Superintendents, Mechanical Installers, and vendor field engineers.
- Coordinate material movement sequencing to support installation schedules.
- Communicate clearly using radio signals, hand signals, and standardized crane/rigger communication.
- Assist with logistics planning, equipment staging, and site material flow.
- Maintain rigging logs, equipment checklists, and lift documentation as required.
- Ensure all equipment movements follow vendor handling specifications.
- Report equipment issues, hazards, or damaged materials immediately.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a rigger, machinery mover, or industrial material handler.
- Experience rigging and moving heavy equipment (1,000–10,000+ lbs).
- Knowledge of proper sling angles, load limits, rigging hardware, and safe lifting practices.
- Ability to work in cleanroom environments and elevated work areas.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate in dynamic work areas.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safe, controlled equipment handling.
- Familiarity with moving semiconductor equipment or precision machinery.
- Experience working on semiconductor facility projects or other high‑tech manufacturing environments.
- Experience with overhead lifting equipment, gantries, and confined‑space maneuvering.
- Ability to read basic equipment drawings, move plans, or installation layouts.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
