Facilities Water Services Engineering Project Manager - ID002
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Pay rate: $50-$70 DOE, Hourly
Location: Boise, ID
The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
- Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines to provide engineering for the design, operation, and troubleshooting of the UPW system, reclaim system, wastewater treatment plant (IWTP), metal waste treatment systems, and drains from the FAB and for managing all aspects of a project.
- Monitor contaminant projections in conjunction with site discharge permit and environment regulations. Ensure resources are available and integrated into project team to meet objectives and ensure team safety.
- Complete all requires safety training. Stop work when needed for safety. Use and review job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Safety, Environmental, and Legal to ensure regulatory requirements of projects are being met.
- Ensure a robust Safety program is in place and maintained. Drive quality improvement initiatives in their area to reduce Fab impacts. Incorporates safety controls in every aspect of the design, enhancement, and modification process.
- Communicate and collaborate proactively with stakeholders on priorities, develop solutions that improve critical metrics, and resolve equipment / process issues. Partner with area leaders and stakeholders for area improvement, status updates, personal performance and development goals.
- Manage projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget. Use a systematic project management methodology. Clarify and document scope to ensure necessary input from stakeholders.
- Define and lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance. Manage vendor contracts and collaborate with consultant resources. Performs research and development on emerging facilities technologies to support cutting-edge semiconductor processes.
- Provide support for install or commissioning of new facilities infrastructure. Manage project conflicts that arise such as routing, timing, or labor issues.
- Drive and support a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and procedures.
- Provide support for construction cost estimates and economic analysis of proposed projects including consumable budgets and projections. Confirm accuracy of city water bill and forecast site city water and discharge flow requirements and costs.
- Utilize administrative and engineering databases in support of job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacities.
- 5+ years of technical experience and primary project management experience for highly technical construction projects.
- Relevant degree or appropriate certification/licensing: Chemical, civil or environmental engineering, chemistry or related field of study.
- Advanced PC skills including proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups, organize and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teams.
- Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, as well as strong written communication skills and effectively communicate with project stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical theory, instrumentation control theory, high purity principles, etc.
- Strong understanding of data extraction, data analysis and reporting methodologies.
- Certification in Business Process Management (PMP)
- Master’s Degree.
