Cost Controller & Analyst
Schedule: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $34.00 per hr. DOE
Location: Boise, ID

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage cost control and financial execution for Facilities construction projects within SAP and related systems.
- Reconcile contractor labor, purchase orders, and invoices from requisition through final payment.
- Act as key liaison for internal partners and external vendors on procurement, invoicing, and payment issues.
- Build and maintain Power BI/Tableau reporting for performance metrics, workload visibility, and SLA tracking.
- Develop recurring metrics to monitor timeliness, issue aging, and coverage effectiveness.
- Document and standardize processes and training materials; support and mentor junior analysts as needed.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies, provide cross‑workstream backup, and support process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Analytics, or related field; experience supporting cost control, purchasing, or project accounting processes.
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboard development and metrics driven reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience in large enterprise, regulated, or facilities/construction financial environments preferred.
- Experience working in a large enterprise or regulated environment.
- Background supporting facilities, construction, or capital project financials.
- Comfortable operating as a contractor embedded within a client team.
- Experience contributing to metrics‑driven performance management.
Physical Effort/Activities:
On a continuous basis will work in an office environment, sit at desk for a long period of time, intermittently answer telephone and use a computer to communicate. On an occasional basis in the performance of duties, it may be required to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
